For over 30-years, Technical Absorbents has been developing class-leading super absorbent materials – supplying globally into a wide range of industries and applications, including absorbents for medical dressings, sanitary products, food packaging, oil/fuel filtration and the cable industry.

Our unique Super Absorbent Fibre (SAF™) technology is at the core of every product, and provides rapid levels of absorption – it is capable of absorbing up to 200 times its own weight in water – and excellent retention.

SAF™ is similar to Super Absorbent Powder (SAP) but in staple fibre form, and is inherently super absorbent. It is this – plus the fact it can be blended easily with other synthetic and natural fibres.

We continue to develop new absorbent technologies (absorbent fibres, absorbent fabrics and absorbent yarns). Our team works closely with customers during every step of the development process, from initial enquiry/brief to end product delivery to ensure our absorbent materials perform as required.
